Dogon: exceptional translucent quartz antique beads from Mali. The history of West African stone bead-making stretches back to prehistoric times. Dogon beads are distinguished by a rough texture, and chunky, rotund characteristics. The exact age of these beads is not known, however the design and material suggest significant age.
